Refund and Dispute Policy
Draft. Not legal advice. Review with a lawyer before launch.
All payments are final
You buy a position on a public board. Placement starts the moment your payment settles, and it cannot be handed back. For that reason every payment is final and non-refundable.
Read this page before you pay. If the terms here do not suit you, do not buy a listing.
What does not qualify for a refund
None of the following is a ground for a refund, a credit, or compensation:
- Someone outranked you. Another advertiser paid more, or paid the same amount earlier. That is the mechanic you bought into. You keep your total and your new, lower position.
- The card closed. Cards close at midnight UTC. A new card opens at once, and daily spend starts again. This is normal operation, not a fault.
- You fell out of the top 10. Bands follow position, and positions move whenever somebody else pays. Dropping out of the main card is expected behaviour.
- You got fewer clicks than you hoped. We sell position, not traffic. We promise no clicks at all.
- We removed your listing for a policy breach. See the Acceptable Use Policy. Removal for breach carries no refund.
- You changed your mind. Buyer's remorse is not a fault in the service.
- You lost your claim token. We cannot recover it, and that loss does not undo the payment. Your listing keeps its total and its position.
- The site was slow or briefly unavailable. We give no uptime guarantee.
- You bid more than you meant to. All amounts are shown before you confirm. Check them.
When we may refund
We may issue a refund at our discretion in these narrow cases:
- A duplicate charge. Your card was charged twice for the same top-up because of a fault on our side or a processing error. We refund the duplicate.
- A listing that never appeared. A technical fault on our side meant your payment settled but the listing never went live at all. We refund it, or we place the listing, at your choice where that is still possible.
- A payment we cancel ourselves. We reject or withdraw a listing before it goes live, for a reason that is not a breach by you. We refund the payment for that listing.
These are discretionary, and they are the whole list. A refund we grant in one case does not commit us to grant another.
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank sets the time it takes to arrive; typically it is a few business days.
How to raise a problem
Email [email protected] and include:
- your payment reference, from your Stripe receipt;
- the listing name;
- the date and the amount;
- a short description of what went wrong.
Do not send your claim token. We never need it, and we will never ask for it.
We aim to reply within 5 business days.
Before you file a chargeback
Contact us first. Most payment problems are a duplicate charge or a misread receipt, and we fix those quickly.
A chargeback filed without contacting us is a breach of the Terms of Service. If you file one, we may remove your listing with no refund of any amount you have paid, ban you and your domains permanently, and recover the disputed amount and the dispute fees our processor charges us.
We keep the payment record in every dispute, so we can show what was bought and when.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page removes a right you hold under mandatory consumer law that cannot be waived by contract. If you buy as a consumer in the EU or the UK, read the consumer note in section 15 of the Terms of Service: you request immediate performance when you buy, and the withdrawal right is lost once the service has been fully performed.
